Service Fee Changes – Effective March 12th, 2026

Starting March 12th, 2026, NSF fees on Alterna Bank personal accounts will decrease from $50 to $10 for Canadian dollar accounts, and from $50 to $5 USD for USD accounts. You’ll pay no fee if the overdrawn amount is under $10, and never more than one NSF fee in any two-business-day period.
